The goal of this assignment was to write an article in the form that would be found on a website. I chose the topic of the maker movement. The maker movement is a really interesting example of the power art and science have over one another, and the topic seemed like it deserved more than just a blog post. I really think that this piece turned out well, and I hope that the topic intrigues readers, as well as educates, and possibly even persuades them to join the movement! The format was reminiscent of a Huffington Post article–complete with a ridiculous number of ads.
