The goal of this project was to get experience writing in the form of a print publication. My piece is about something I have a fair amount of personal experience with–3D printing. I feel that the average person, although aware of 3D printing, seems to know fairly little about it. As such, the goal of my article is to inform the general public about the technology, what it does, and how they can actually use a 3D printer. The format of my article is reminiscent of a New York Times article, as would be found in the Technology or Science section.
